About My Grenadier

The Origin Story of MyGrenadier.com

It started way back when with a love of 4x4s and off-roading. As a teenager, I learned to drive in a Jeep CJ-5 and my favorite car was an LM002, the Lambo 4×4. I expanded my love for off-road vehicles long before they were called SUVs with Jeeps, Land Rovers, Toyotas, specifically the Jeep CJ-7, the Land Rover Defender, and vintage Land Cruisers. I spent my adult years dreaming about an Icon Land Cruiser, a 1990s Defender 110, a new G-Wagon, or snapping up a Jeep Scrambler before they all rusted to away to nothing.

I had been actively shopping old Defenders when I read a Wall Street Journal article in February of 2023 about a crazy billionaire in the U.K. and his quest to build the Grenadier. I wanted to be one of the first to drive a Grenadier and I wanted to be involved in the community of fans so MyGrenadier.com was born.

About nine months later, the site is live and we’re off an running. My Grenadier (the SUV not the site) was delivered in December. I’m excited to finally have my hands on this thing and hoping to do accomplish some firsts with it. Website articles on early impressions, a detailed test drive, and what doesn’t work or needs to be fixed are all on the way along with more news and reviews from the world of Grenadier.
